Synopsis
To improve the scenic appearance of concrete surfaces, we have developed an elastic body mold material made of thermoplastic Elastomer that can transfer a reverse slope shape, a capability not provided by conventional resin mold material. By permitting the execution of formerly impossible surface designs, this new material not only improves the scenic appearance of concrete structures, it can be used to provide concrete with new functions such as marine plant adhesion. This report describes sample applications using elastic body molds.
