By K. Maruyama and H. Shima

Concrete Jounal, Vo.41, No.7, Jul. 2003

Synopsis
The JSCE Standard Specifications for Concrete Structures-2002, Seismic Performance Verification describes how to verify the seismic performance of concrete structures. The verification should be conducted by nonlinear dynamic response analysis. For the analysis the Standard Specifications indicates the hysteretic models to be used for concrete and steel materials, for RC members as well as for soil. In addition, the time to time ground motion data to be used for the verification are firstly introduced in the commentary.
