- Synopsis
- As a concentional construction method of the seismic strengthening, the steel brace occupies the majority to the seismic strengthening activity done for a public building now. However, it is difficult to strengthening it while using the building when these conventional construction method are used. To solve such problems, the authors have developed a new method, so called PARALLEL System for seismic strengthening of building, wtich applies external diagonal cable stayed. This paper reports the development and construction of PARALLEL System.
