- Synopsis
- In Japan,limestone powder began to be extensively used for selfcompacting concrete and high quality shotcrete.The importance of the use of limestone powder for filler cement having low environmental load must become stronger in the future.The quality standard of limestone powder for concrete (draft) proposed by Technical Committee for limestone powder application was introduced.In addition,this paper discribes the physical and chemical properties of limestone powder such as the reaction of limestone powder and C3A with or without gypsum or the mechanisms of fluidity of paste.And Delayed Ettringite Formation was also summarized in the presence of limestone powder.
