Synopsis
It is anticipated to develop a permeable and/or a drainage pavement that is durable and enhances the safe drive, noise reduction and the heat-island phenomenon control, and the reduction of environmental inpacts as well. This new type of pavement is constructed with the Wet-On-Wet manner unifying the porous surface course that has excellent permeability over the pervious binder course that has the predetermined bending strength. This paper shows the mix design utilizing industrial by-products, various physical properties and the test results that were conducted for the actual use.
