Efforts to enhance Current Substructure Hybrid Test System Capabilities

Synopsis
The present paper deals with current status of development of as advanced substructure hybrid test system that includes nonlinear finite element method as a numerical analysis part and visualization function. Some unique features and the validity of the test system performance using PC-based simulator are discussed. In addition, a brief explanation of electro hydraulic actuators is presented.
