Synopsis
Initial cracking arise in the restraint of concrete structures (such as main garder against the deck slabs, for example) warping originated from the drying shrinkage and temperature change. And the passing-through crack arise before use of structures in certain circumstance, it bring in public discussion. Therefore this study clarified the cause of initial cracking. It was confirmed that the weather conditions (wind speed, humidity, temperature) caused this cracking, and this cracking is controlled by the membrane curing agent. Using the wind tunnel equipment, this study clarified the prediction of initial cracking in the domain of weather conditions.
