Stipulation of Structural Eurocodes and Influence of System and Contents of Eurocodes

- Synopsis
- The Structural Eurocodes have been stipulated and have influenced greatly on not only Japanese technical standard but also ISO codes. Due to the European harmonization process, all traditional national standards in conflict to Eurocodes have already to be withdrawn. Public clients or agencies have also replaced their own technical specifications when purchasing construction products or services after April 1st 2010. Histories, systems and contents of Eurocodes are described at first and then their influences of a complete set of European standards for the construction industry, in particular the Eurocodes are considered.
