- The surface quality of the concrete structure is very important, because it would decide the durability performance of concrete structures. And the surface quality would be greatly influenced by the skill of construction. But now, the PDCA cycle for improving the quality doesn't rotate well, since the rationalized evaluation method on the surface quality has not existed. Therefore, a new evaluation method on the surface quality using the visual test has been studied in order to evaluate correctly and to improve the quality of concrete structures. This paper describes the existing problem of evaluation methods, any details on a new evaluation method and its effects.
