Japan Concrete Institute (JCI), Japan Prestressed Concrete Engineering Association (JPCEA) and Federation Internationale du Beton (fib) are pleased to announce the 8th International Symposium on Utilization of High-strength and High Performance Concrete to be held in Tokyo in October 2008.
The symposium will keep the success of previous symposia in Stavanger in 1987, Berkeley in 1990, Lillehammer in 1993, Paris in 1996, Sandefjord in 1999, Leipzig in 2002 and Washington D.C. in 2005.
The symposium will bring together engineers, designers, researchers and scientists from around the world to promote better understandings on common interests ranging from the most recent researches to the latest applications of high-strength and high performance concrete for construction.

Another international conference

8th International Conference on Creep, Shrinkage and Durability of Concrete and Concrete Structures(CONCREEP8), held in Autumn, 2008 in Japan.
